First abroad store was opened in Hong Kong in 1994. In 1995 Nine West created first handbags collection. Not long after brand expanded to kids footwear, legwear and outerwear. Beetween 2006 and 2010 Nine West was participating in a number of projects with other well known designers and brands like Vivienne Westwood or Sophia Kokosalaki. Together they created few limited footware and clothing collections.
Nine West was created as a shoe brand only but it evolved into a wholesale and retail fashion company with more than 10-15 footware and clothing collections. In addition to shoes and clothes Nine West is also creating handbags, belts and watches. One of the biggest Nine West virtue is agile translation of runway trends into designes achievable by mass buyers. First Nine West shop was opened in 1983, today this brand has more than a 800 stores in almost 60 countries.
